Selena Gomez is retracting her statement after speaking out about Bella Hadid deleting an Instagram post which the singer left a sweet comment on. The stars, who both dated Grammy-winning artist, The Weeknd, made headlines after Gomez called Hadid "stunning" in the model's IG comments. Fans thought the singer's exes were playing nice, until Hadid went and deleted her entire post, making some wonder if it was because of Gomez's comment. Her deletion didn't go unnoticed by fans and Selena Gomez responded to the chaos, something she now says she regrets.

When news first broke, fans began to wonder if the "Lose You To Love Me" singer's comment caused Hadid to delete the post. "She's all about supporting women. You all just can't take it nicely. Btw Ms. Hadid deleted the post," one commenter wrote during the discussion, to which Gomez responded, "That sucks," and added the crying emoji. It appears she's now regretting her reaction because she took to the social media giant to comment again after fans started hating Bella Hadid for hurting Selena's feelings.

"NO. I shouldn't of spoken without knowing the truth. I'm sorry, " the singer later stated, before instructing fans, "Please don't be hurtful." Gomez added that Hadid "is a wonderful person and it was all a misunderstanding." The fashion model has yet to address the reasoning for removing her post, but it looks like Selena is moving past it. The stars have had a colorful social media past, which started when Hadid unfollowed the singer after she was seen kissing the model's ex-boyfriend, The Weeknd, in 2017. That led to Gomez later unfollowing Bella Hadid.

The Weeknd and Selena Gomez's whirlwind relationship came to an end in October 2017 after she reconnected with Justin Bieber, They were first linked in January of that year, following the "Call Out My Name" singer's split from Bella Hadid.

The model and her former singing beau began dating in 2015 and have experienced an off and on relationship since their split in 2016, which they blamed on scheduling conflicts that kept them apart. Fans caught them in the act when video showed Bella Hadid and The Weeknd making out during an after-party in Cannes last year. They were seen hanging out after returning to New York City, but that soon fizzled out. Most recently, he was seen alongside Hadid's family at her 23rd birthday party last month. While fans got excited thinking it meant they were back together, The Blast learned that was not the case. We were told that The Weeknd decided to attend the celebration as Hadid's friend only and the two remain close but not in a romantic way. Despite joining her mom, former "RHOBH" star Yolanda Hadid in singing happy birthday, and reports that the two left the party together, The Weeknd and Bella Hadid are not dating again.

She also came toe-to-toe with Bieber's wife, Hailey Bieber, after it appeared the model dissed the lyrics in Gomez's track "Lose You To Love Me." Mrs. Bieber responded by liking a post of Selena Gomez celebrating the success of her single with her girlfriends.
