January Jones Jokes Kiernan Shipka Is the 'Mayor of Hollywood' in Festive “Mad Men” Reunion Pics
The Draper women are back — this time, celebrating the Christmas season as off-screen friends
The Mad Men girls are together again!
January Jones and Kiernan Shipka posed together in black and white on Sunday to celebrate the holiday season. Jones captioned the set of three photos: “Merry Holidays from the mayor of Hollywood and me ????????”
During the AMC show's seven-season run from 2007 to 2015, the actresses played mother/daughter duo Betty Draper (Jones) and Sally Draper (Shipka). Betty was the sometimes cold mother figure, who died of lung cancer in her 30s. Sally was the oldest daughter of the family, who became a central part of the series once she became an adolescent.

This isn’t the first time Jones, 45, and Shipka, 24, have reunited off screen. In 2019, they appeared together in a Rodarte Spring Summer 2020 Campaign. Other cast members often join in for their off-screen moments, too. In 2020, Jon Hamm, who played patriarch Don Draper, attended Shipka’s 20th birthday party.
A 2021 outing saw Christina Hendricks join the girls, and Jones, Hamm and Talia Balsam, Elisabeth Moss and John Slattery all posed together on the 90th Academy Awards carpet in 2018.

Earlier this year, Shipka called filming the series as a child — as young as 7 — “intense.”
“I’m surprised because I wasn’t really thinking it was heavy duty at the time,” she told Page Six. “I didn’t know anything else. That’s what I did. But looking back, I go, ‘Yeah, well, that was really intense.”
She also recounted her time on-screen with Jones while speaking to Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live in 2022. She admitted it was "more intimidating" to work with Jones than Hamm. “I think January because she was always being a little meaner to me in the scenes," The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina alum said. "So it's a little scarier."
