See It First: B. Howard Premieres ‘Don’t Say You Love Me’ Video
In addition to being a talented solo artist, B. Howard has also collaborated as a producer and songwriter with the likes of Jason Derulo, Miguel, Ne-Yo, Akon, Ciara, among others. But in the meantime, he’s focused on his own project, his forthcoming EP, Nothing to Prove.
Yahoo Music offers the first look at the music video for the project’s lead single, “Don’t Say You Love Me.”
In the clip for the electric dance track, Howard and his female lead, South African model-turned-singer Adeline Mocke, portray a couple working through their differences. The plot intensifies when Timbaland protégé Brooklyn rapper BK Brasco emerges to contribute a verse. And there’s even another twist by the video’s end.
Howard, son of ‘80s and ’90s R&B star Miki Howard, also appeared with Wylcef Jean and Jazmine Sullivan on “Ke Nako,” a Nelson Mandela tribute that appears on Listen Up! The Official 2010 FIFA World Cup Album.
