The 2024 Tony Awards are bringing out some stylish stars!
Before the June 16 show kicked off on CBS and Paramount + at 8 p.m. ET, celebs lit up the navy blue carpet outside the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center in New York City in an array of dramatic looks.
Host Ariana DeBose was all smiles in a stained glass gown while presenters Taraji P. Henson, Cynthia Erivo and actress Danai Gurira showed up in metallic confections. Meanwhile, Angelina Jolie brought the drama in a draped gown and teased crown. See every show-stopping look in the gallery ahead.
Angelina Jolie
Presenter Angelina Jolie nearly stole the show in a draped teal gown and a Briony Raymond vintage yellow gold and diamond ring.
Taraji P. Henson
Presenter Taraji P. Henson posed in a scalloped gown with a sparkly box purse, the pointiest metallic heels and earrings and rings by REZA. A single highlighted curl in her blowout added a touch of drama.
Ariana DeBose
Host Ariana DeBose was among the first to hit the carpet, and she made a lasting impression in this strapless fit-and-flare Oscar de la Renta dress with a multicolor stained glass window-like design, dainty Rahaminov Diamonds earrings and silver sandals.
Alicia Keys
Alicia Keys, who wrote the lyrics and music for Hell’s Kitchen, which is up for 13 awards, looked — you guessed it — fire in an off-the-shoulder gown with red paillettes, plus a matching belt and Opera gloves. Roberto Coin 18K White Gold Diamante earrings added to the sparkle.
Julianne Hough
“And now we glam,” presenter Julianne Hough noted in an Instagram Story Post ahead of her red carpet reveal. The star chose a frilly, blush pink gown, that showed off a sliver of her matching Casadei sandals as she posed. She accessorized the strapless design with a bold silver choker.
Brooke Shields
Brooke Shields stepped out in Crocs! The actress and author, who's recovering from double foot toe surgery, coordinated from head-to-toe in a vibrant dress and the popular clog for the ceremony. "I couldn't do this in heels!" she told PEOPLE.
Cynthia Erivo
Presenter Cynthia Erivo glittered in gold. All eyes were on her strapless, textured custom Louis Vuitton dress with a dramatic train, piles of Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany jewels and standout manicure.
Elle Fanning
Actress Elle Fanning suited up for the event. She balanced a Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello look consisting of a single breast jacket, tuxedo pants and slingback pumps with a dainty necklace and red lip.
Idina Menzel
Presenter Idina Menzel selected a mesmerizing Naeem Khan gown. She teamed the long-sleeve, floor-skimming number with glamorous waves and a black clutch.
Danai Gurira
Actress Danai Gurira shined in a strapless Gariela Hearst bustier gown (and statement bracelet) which she topped off with a sculptural braided updo.
Jessica Lange
Nominee Jessica Lange made an entrance in a garnet Dolce & Gabbana gown with sheer chiffon sleeves, plus a clutch and shoes in a similar hue. She added a dose of sparkle via her diamond tennis necklace.
Sarah Paulson
Nominee Sarah Paulson accessorized her white gown featuring an abstract black sequin print with Mindi Mond earrings and a triptych ring by REZA.
