Sandra Bullock Is Fearing for Her Family’s Safety After Scammers Impersonated Her on Social Media
Sandra Bullock has never had any social media accounts. However, that’s not stopping scammers from impersonating her, and now, it’s gotten so bad that she’s fearing for her family’s safety.
In a statement through People, Bullock spoke about this situation, saying, “My family’s safety, as well as the innocent people being taken advantage of, is my deep concern, and there will be a time when I will comment more, but for now our focus is helping law enforcement handle this matter.”

She added, “Please be aware that I do not participate in any form of social media. Any accounts pretending to be me or anyone associated with me are fake accounts and have been created for financial gain or to exploit people around me.”
This comes after her younger sister Gesine Bullock-Prado spoke out about people impersonating her on Facebook, and realized people were being scammed out of money from frauds online. Now, both the Bullock sisters are working overtime to ensure everyone, including their family, feels safe.
For those who don’t know, Bullock adopted her two children, who are named Louis, 15, and Laila, 11.
In 2022, while speaking with Good Morning America, she talked about how she’s taking a step away from acting, and won’t pick up projects that’ll take her away from her kids. “Right now I don’t want to create anything that takes me away from just being present,” she said, noting how her family is her biggest priority. “I don’t want to be doing a lot of things at one time that don’t service the one thing that I want to be around — my family.”
