San Diego’s Jazz Lounge looks to break world record for longest acoustic livestream
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — San Diego’s Jazz Lounge is currently attempting to break a world record for the longest acoustic livestream and you can be apart of it.
Looking to smash the previous world record of 26 hours and 18 minutes set by Gabriella Di Laccio and the Donne Foundation in London, UK in February 2024, the Jazz Lounge on El Cajon Blvd in San Diego says they are going for 100 hours in an effort to set the Guinness World Record.
The Jazz Lounge started its livestream at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 14 and isn’t planning to stop until noon on Sunday, Aug. 18, with musicians booked around the clock in hour slots.
The livestream is free to watch and the venue is also offering some breakfast and lunch options for those who purchase tickets to see the concerts live in person.
The live music venue is asking for donations, but not requiring them.
