Samuel L. Jackson Would’ve Liked ‘Star Wars’ More If He Were in It
On Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen said a lot of viewers were texting in to ask Samuel L. Jackson what he thought about the new Star Wars movie. His quick answer was “It’s cool, you know, it’s in the right spirit.” Andy prodded more, and Sam turned to guest bartender Grae Drake, senior editor of Rotten Tomatoes, to find out how the movie rated on that site. She was no help, so Sam came clean: “I mean, the kids could use some lightsaber training.” He played Jedi Master Mace Windu in The Phantom Menace, and it looks like he took note that his character’s skill set could have been put to great use in J.J. Abrams’s film.
