Sam Worthington and Gugu Mbatha-Raw Join Aaron Taylor-Johnson in New Thriller
David Mackenzie has added some new cast members to his upcoming movie, Fuze, starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Theo James.
Sam Worthington, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Elham Ehsas and Honor Swinton-Byrne are joining the time-ticking thriller written by Ben Hopkins, which ignites when a long-buried WWII bomb is found in central London, sparking a citywide evacuation, while a group of men exploit the chaos to their own ends.
"Fuze is the first feature I've shot in London," Mackenzie says. "I'm thrilled to be here. The cast and crew are the cream of British talent and I'm excited to roll camera".
Mackenzie's filmography includes Outlaw/King and Hell or High Water, and he is partnering once more with producer Gillian Berrie for Sigma Films, with Sebastien Raybaud and Callum Grant producing for Anton.
He also partners once more with director of photography Giles Nuttgens, who has shot seven of Mackenzie's films, landing a BAFTA nomination for his work on Hell or High Water.
Joining the creative team are Academy award-winning hair and makeup designer Christine Blundell, BAFTA award-nominated costume designer Nigel Egerton, and production designer Amanda McArthur.
