Ryan Reynolds Interrogates Blake Lively's on-Screen Love Interest in Interview Fans Are Calling 'Absolute Perfection'
Ryan Reynolds has been making headlines lately for his entertaining antics while promoting Deadpool & Wolverine with co-star Hugh Jackman—and now the actor is finding a way to have fun as part of his wife Blake Lively's press tour for her new movie, It Ends With Us.
On Tuesday, Aug. 6, Lively shared a video to Instagram of Reynolds taking over an interview with Brandon Sklenar, her love interest in the film—but her husband's questions for Sklenar had very little to do with his performance.
"It's not every day the husband gets to interview his wife's love interest in a film. It's kind of crazy," Reynolds began.
"So I saw you posing in a photo with Mrs. Reynolds—I'm sorry, what do you call her, do you guys have a nickname or something?" he continued before interrogating Sklenar about his physique in a photo where he poses with Lively.
"Is that genetics? Do you have some sort of low-angle squat routine to pop that region in that way? I mean, what's going on here, man?"
The exchange soon took a turn for the unexpected, with Reynolds joking about his recent "journey" with a particular illicit substance.

After Reynolds and Sklenar hugged it out at the end of their chat, Ryan's mother, Tammy, also took a turn grilling the actor (referring to him as "the man trying to replace my sweet little gummy bear Ryan") before Jackman showed up to call Sklenar "the guy trying to replace Ryan as a husband and me as his best mate."
Unsurprisingly, fans were highly amused by the interaction.
"This is absolute perfection. ????," wrote one Instagram user.
"I love how family & friends are even getting in on promoting this movie. I’ve never seen a cast & crew come up with so many cool different fun ways to promote a movie! ??," raved another person.
Yet another Instagram user commented, "Ryan Reynolds is a comedic and marketing genius."
It Ends With Us hits theaters on Friday, Aug. 9.
