Rihanna Coordinates With A$AP Rocky in Office Core Looks Featuring Pinstripes for Assault Trial ‘Not Guilty’ Verdict
For their latest appearance at a Los Angeles courthouse on Tuesday, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky took a modern approach to power dressing, embracing a relaxed interpretation of corporate dress codes. Wearing oversized tailored pieces, the couple attended Rocky’s trial conclusion as a jury found the rapper not guilty of assault with a semiautomatic firearm.
Rihanna wore a gray blazer paired with khaki wide-leg trousers and a pinstriped gray button-up, worn partially unbuttoned. The outfit was finished with snake print boots and a Dior leather bag.

Rocky wore a classic pinstripe suit by Saint Laurent with a checkered white and blue dress shirt and a white tie. The suit featured a double-breasted jacket and was paired with black dress shoes. He was also wearing a long dark overcoat upon his arrival.
The couple’s courtroom outfits reflect the ongoing office core trend that has been embraced by brands such as Prada, Miu Miu, Balenciaga, Retrofête, Saint Laurent and others. The trend draws inspiration from the ’90s and early 2000s fashion, taking traditional business attire and updating it with contemporary proportions and styling choices.
Rocky, born Rakim Mayers, faced a three-week trial after he was charged with two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm for allegedly firing a gun at a former friend in November 2021. He was found not guilty on both counts.
“The glory belongs to God and to God alone,” Rihanna wrote on Instagram, following her appearance at court. “Thankful, humbled by His mercy.”
On Feb. 14, Rihanna made a surprise appearance at the Los Angeles courtroom to support her husband. Dressed in a green Bottega Venetta, she was accompanied by their kids, Rza and Riot.
