Rihanna And A$AP Rocky Reveal Their Second Son’s Name
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have revealed the name of their second son, who was reportedly born last month. According to The Blast who obtained a copy of the birth certificate on Thursday (Sept. 7), the couple named their son Riot Rose Mayers.
As the couple already has one child, RZA Athelston Mayers, who they named after the legendary Wu-Tang emcee — Riot’s name could be inspired by A$AP’s latest single of the same title. However, ET reported that the parents will not reveal their newest baby anytime soon.
“Rihanna and A$AP will spend the early days of parenthood out of the public eye and won’t make any immediate plans to debut the new baby,” a source reportedly informed the outlet.

After photos of the toddler were leaked online by paparazzi, Rih then posed with her family for British Vogue, and has since shared precious moments of him online. In their March cover, the Fenty creator described motherhood as “legendary,” addding, “It’s everything. You really don’t remember life before, that’s the craziest thing ever.”
The 35-year-old unveiled her second pregnancy during the 2024 Super Bowl LVII halftime show in February. Wearing an all-red jumpsuit, the singer rubbed her baby bump as she concluded her medley of hits.
“They’re so excited to grow their family and are so united when it comes to parenting,” other sources told the ET. “They have so much fun together and are very in love. They already shared a special connection and parenting together has made their bond even stronger. [Rihanna] knows her world is about to get exponentially busier with two babies in the house under two.”
The Grammy-winner also made a show-stopping appearance at the 2023 MET Gala in May, with her baby bump on display in a white Valentino gown. A$AP also joined her in a fashionable manner, as the two walked hand-in-hand, posing for various shots of their ensembles.
