Steve Schirripa enjoyed meatballs at Longo Ristorante Pizzeria in Westerly
Steve Schirripa, an actor known for his roles on "The Sopranos" and "Blue Bloods", has been a patron of Longo's in Westerly for years.
Most recently, Schirripa visited the pizzeria in February to enjoy some meatballs with his dog, Willie.
In a video on Longo's Instagram page, Schirripa calls the dish "the best meatballs I've ever had anywhere."
Jamie Lee Curtis recommends Seven Stars Bakery and more in Providence
Earlier this year, Jamie Lee Curtis took to Instagram to share a few of her favorite spots to dine at in Providence while she was there shooting her upcoming movie, "Ella McCay."
Curtis endorsed a local bakery that also happens to be a reader favorite; Seven Stars Bakery was voted one of the best coffee shops in Rhode Island.
The actress wrote Seven Stars Bakery was a "daily visit" that left her "inspired, caffeinated and satiated and collaborated and HAPPY!"
Also while filming, Curtis said she hosted a dinner for the film's cast at New Rivers Beau in Providence. She recommended the restaurant's roast chicken and lobster rolls.
She also recommended Providence's Little Sister for brunch.
Woody Harrelson enjoyed a beer at Lang's Bowlarama in Cranston
Also in town shooting "Ella McCay," actor Woody Harrelson stopped at Lang's Bowlarama in February with family.
The actor was spotted drinking a beer at the Cranston bowling alley.
Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey visited family friends at Twin Oaks in Cranston
Before their star-studded June wedding in Watch Hill, Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey visited Twin Oaks restaurant in Cranston back in March.
Twin Oaks' owner, Susan Deangelus Valles, said at the time it was McCaffrey's first time at the restaurant, so the former Miss Universe gave him a tour of the establishment.
The couple was attending Valles' daughter's baby shower alongside Culpo's mom, Valles said.
Dave Portnoy brings One Bite Pizza Reviews to Rhode Island
In January, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy brought his famous One Bite Pizza Reviews series to Rhode Island.
Portnoy visited two pizza restaurants in Providence: Francesco's Pizzeria and Nice Slice Pizzeria.
He also stopped by Merlino's Pizzeria in Cranston and D. Palmieri's Bakery in Johnston.
