Retromania launches ’80s music vacation in Missouri
BRANSON, Mo. — A five-day festival is bringing the ’80s to Branson.
Retromania hosted a launch party today for its live ’80s music vacation – planned for August 21 through 25.
The week will be filled with parties, costume contests, and celebrity meet and greets – with appearances from musicians like Vince Neil from Motley Crue, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Lou Gramm, and pop sensation Tiffany.

Other celebrities will make appearances as well, including legendary wrestling manager Jimmy Hart and actress Tami Erin, who’s best known for playing “Pippi Longstocking”.
“Branson has so many cool things, but it doesn’t really have the major artists that used to be here in the ’90s. And so that’s kind of a new passion of mine to bring some of that here. And of course, I love the ’80s, you can see I have a whole place based on the ’80s. So I thought the best thing to do was to start with a big ’80s festival,” said James Kelly, Retromania President.
“If you haven’t been to Branson, you have to come. And if you have, you know how much fun it is, and this is gonna be an amazing week,” said Tami Erin, Pippi Longstocking Actress.
Tickets for the event go on sale Friday.
