Who owns The Boil Daddy?
Dalton Pidcock, 29, born and raised in Stuart, is the franchisee for The Boil Daddy in Stuart, the national chain's first Florida location. Pidcock, who has a background in the restaurant industry, loves seafood. "This was kind of my way to bring it to the community," he said.
The chain was started by Jun Cho, a South Korean immigrant who dropped out of college to co-found the seafood delivery-focused chain with only $30,000 in June 2020, according to Forbes, which named him to its “30 under 30” list for food and drink in North America last year. Cho began with one restaurant in downtown Los Angeles and then decided to franchise the business.
The Boil Daddy has 14 locations in Texas and California, and more planned for those two states as well as Colorado, Arizona, Georgia and Oregon.
