Report: WWE Has Internal Belief That NXT Will Have Involvement At TNA Against All Odds
TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace will compete at NXT Battleground. It is believed that NXT could cross over into TNA at TNA Against All Odds, according to a new report.
On the May 28 episode of WWE NXT, Jordynne Grace was revealed as NXT Women’s Champion Roxanne Perez’s opponent at NXT Battleground. Grace will compete on the June 4 episode of WWE NXT.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that the deal to bring Jordynne Grace to NXT came together three weeks ago, and it was kept close to the vest.
Additionally, Johnson writes that “the belief in WWE” is that NXT will have some sort of involvement at TNA Against All Odds on June 14. There, Grace will have an open challenge for her title. Johnson writes that Slammiversary is viewed as a possibility as well. However, fans will have to wait and see whether TNA can advertise it in advance. It was noted that the hope was that working with NXT would boost upcoming ticket sales.
Grace previously competed in the Women’s Royal Rumble in January. This came after Mickie James was an entrant in the battle royal in 2022.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available. We will have coverage of TNA Against All Odds as it airs on June 14.
