Rebecca Wisocky, Joe Lanza & Crosby Fitzgerald Join Hulu’s Amanda Knox Limited Series
EXCLUSIVE: Rebecca Wisocky (Ghosts), Joe Lanza (The Americans) and Crosby Fitzgerald (Palm Royale) are set for key recurring roles opposite Grace Van Patten and Sharon Horgan in Hulu‘s Amanda Knox limited series.
Amanda is based on the true story of how Amanda Knox was wrongfully convicted for the murder of her roommate Meredith Kercher and her 16-year odyssey to set herself free.

Wisocky will play Cecilia, an American in prison who moves into Amanda’s (Van Patten) cell to take care of her. Lanza portrays Chris Mellas, Amanda’s stepdad who found love later in life with Edda (Horgan) and is a strong presence in Amanda’s life.
Fitzgerald will play Madison, Amanda’s best friend who always speaks her mind.
John Hoogenakker, Francesco Acquaroli, Giuseppe De Domenico and Roberta Mattei also star.
Amanda, created by KJ Steinberg, hails from 20th Television in association with The Littlefield Company. Steinberg executive produces alongside Warren Littlefield, Lisa Harrison, Ann Johnson, & Graham Littlefield for The Littlefield Company; Monica Lewinsky via Alt Ending Productions; and Amanda Knox & Chris Robinson of Knox Robinson Productions.
Wisocky can currently be seen in the role of Hetty Woodstone, the eccentric 19th century aristocrat, on CBS’ Ghosts, which is in its fourth season. She’s also known for her roles on The Sex Lives of College Girls and Devious Maids, among others. Her film work includes Pollock, Hello, My Name is Doris, Netflix’s Blonde, and Amsterdam. She’s repped by Main Title Entertainment, BRS / Gage Talent Agency and Vox.
Lanza recurred on House of Cards, Gotham and The Americans and appeared in guest roles on Orange Is The New Black, The Good Fight, The Sinner and most recently Law & Order: SVU, among others. On the film side, he appeared in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story, The Normal Heart, The Family Fang, The Half Of It and Cabrini. He’s repped by Harris Spylios at Davis Spylios Mgmt.
Fitzgerald can next be seen in Bart Layton’s Amazon feature Crime 101. Her credits include recurring roles on Apple’s Palm Royale, ABC’s Abbott Elementary and Showtime’s The First Lady, as well as Comedy Central’s Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens. She’s repped by Authentic Talent and Literary Management and Alexander White Agency.
