Ratings: ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Rises From Last Week's Low

Thanks to “Big Brother,” CBS won Wednesday in the key ratings demo. NBC pulled in the most viewers with a flat “America's Got Talent.”

For Fox, “So You Think You Can Dance” ticked up from last week's series low.

CBS was first in ratings with a 1.5 rating/5 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in viewers with an average of 6.1 million, according to preliminary numbers. “Big Brother” at 8 p.m. earned a 2.3/8 — the highest rating of the night — and 6.8 million viewers. “Extant” at 9 received a 1.1/4 and 5.7 million viewers.

NBC was second in ratings with a 1.2/4 and first in viewers with 6.5 million. Following a rerun, “America's Got Talent” at 9 earned a 1.8/6 and night-high 9.3 million viewers. “Taxi Brooklyn” at 10 had a 0.8/3 and 4.7 million viewers.

ABC, Fox and Univision tied for third in ratings, each with a 1.1/4. ABC was third in viewers with 4 million; Fox was fourth with 3.6 million viewers; and Univision was fifth with 2.8 million viewers.

For ABC, following repeats, “Motive” at 10 got a 0.9/3 and 3.7 million viewers.

For Fox, “SYTYCD” at 8 was the only show on the schedule.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.7/2 and in total viewers with 1.5 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.3/1 and in total viewers with 1.2 million. “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” at 8 received a 0.5/2 and 1.7 million viewers. A rerun followed.
