Prithviraj Sukumaran’s Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil Release Date Announced
The year 2024 has been seemingly going well for Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran. Following the success of the 2023 film Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, Sukumaran appeared in the survival drama Aadujeevitham. His phenomenal acting skills took the movie buffs by storm, and the film minted millions.
Sukumaran also returned to Bollywood with the star-studded movie Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Now, the actor is all set for a family drama based in a local setting, Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil, which also stars Basil Joseph.
It has been months since the film’s first glimpse was unveiled. Additionally, there were many speculations about its release date. After a long wait, the official release date has been announced and is not very far away.
When will Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil release?
Taking to Instagram, Prithviraj Sukumaran recently shared a brand new poster of Guruvayoor Amalanadayil. He also confirmed that the movie will be released on May 16, 2024, worldwide. Fans are excited to see how the movie will unfold on the big screens.
The movie boasts an ensemble cast in addition to Prithviraj Sukumaran and Basil Joseph. Anaswara Rajan and Nikhila Vimal have pivotal roles in the film, while Yogi Babu and Jagadish play supporting characters.
Allegedly, Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil is set against the backdrop of a wedding taking place in the sacred town of Guruvayoor. The town is known for its temple of Lord Krishna, which has a history of grooms marrying the wrong brides. Likewise, the film’s plot revolves around a young man who is excited to settle down but ends up marrying a woman who hates him. As a result, he feels he is doomed to suffer in the marriage.
Directed by Vipin Das, Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil will witness chaos being unleashed during a wedding. Deepu Pradeep has written the film, which is being produced by Prithviraj Productions and E4 Entertainment
