‘Power’ Star Naturi Naughton Wears Sold Out Cult of Coquette Satin Pumps at the 7th Annual Celebration of Black Cinema and Television
“Power” star Naturi Naughton doesn’t have to choose just one shoe to wear to an event—she can wear two. That was the case when she attended the 7th Annual Celebration of Black Cinema & Television was held on Dec. 9 at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles where she reunited with her longtime costar on the Starz franchise Michael Rainey Jr.
On the red carpet, Naughton, wore a pair of Cult of Coquette’s Bianca black vegan satin pumps, which are currently sold out. The pumps featured a satin upper, a pointed toe and a heel measuring about 4 inches. The actress, who plays Tasha St. Patrick in the popular series, wore a White Long sleeve asymmetric blazer dress by Christian Siriano.

She paired the dress with sheer black tights and the pumps for the red carpet. The shoes originally come with draping crystal chains around the top line of the heel but her stylist, Harrison Thomas Crite, tells FN that he removed the detail ahead of the event. Rainey Jr. kept his look elegant yet edgy in a gray suit and chunky black shoes with a metal cap toe.
Once inside the ceremony, Naughton changed into a pair of towering Sam Edelman heels. She was seemingly wearing the brand’s Andie platform heel, which featured a satin upper, a pointed toe silhouette and a sky-high flared heel. The shoe also featured a crystal chain that decorated the ankle, but it was removed to give yet another sleek and more seamless look.
Naughton got on stage alongside Wendell Pierce to present Rainey Jr., her TV son, with the Rising Star Award in a TV Series for his performance in STARZ’s “Power Book II: Ghost.” The fourth and final season of the series aired earlier this year, marking a decade of him playing the character of Tariq St. Patrick in the “Power” franchise.
The 7th Annual Celebration of Black Cinema & Television was held on Dec. 9 at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles. The Critics Choice Association celebrated a stacked list of honorees this year including Regina King receiving the Trailblazer Award, Tyler Perry was honored with the Icon Award, while Cynthia Erivo received the Actress Award – Film for her performance in “Wicked.”
