‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan’ Raises The Stakes In Season 4 Trailer
Power Book III: Raising Kanan finds Kanan and Raquel looking to build their trust as their unpredictable world invites crime and chaos into their high-stakes lifestyle. On Tuesday (Feb. 11), STARZ released the official trailer for the anticipated fourth season of the crime drama, highlighting returning characters, and new talent set for the pending installment.
According to a press release in the upcoming season, a more confident Kanan (MeKai Curtis) continues to step out of the shadow of his formidable mother, drug queen pin Raquel Thomas (Patina Miller), as she questions if she can trust her son and business partner. Together, the mother-son duo work to expand their drug empire with Snaps (Wendell Pierce), Pop (Erika Woods), and Italian mob boss Stefano Marchetti (Tony Danza).
Meanwhile, all while a resurrected “Unique” (Joey Bada$$) is menacingly seeking vengeance against those he believes wronged him.
In addition to Miller, Curtis, Brown, Mays, Kilgore, Pierce, Woods, and Danza, season four adds new cast members, with Pardison Fontaine as B-Rilla, Chris Redd as Early Tyler, Sibongile Mlambo as Imani Okoye, and Paul Ben-Victor as Phil Russo.
Season four is set to return to STARZ on March 7, 2025, available to stream weekly on Fridays on the STARZ app, and all STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms.
Power Book III: Raising Kanan was renewed for a fifth season as the third season of the crime drama concluded.
“We know that our fans can’t get enough of ‘Raising Kanan,’” expressed Kathryn Busby, President of Original Programming for STARZ, in a statement. “As the inevitable evolution of this young man into a killer plays out, we knew we had much more backstory to share in this ever-escalating family saga. As we continue to expand the storytelling within the Power universe, we’re looking forward to how this story may intersect with other Power characters during this prequel era.”
Power Book III: Raising Kanan is the second series in the expanded Power franchise. Sascha Penn serves as showrunner and executive producer for season four.
