New pizzeria, coat drive, special drinks and a sweater party usher in Erie holiday madness
There's a new-ish pizzeria in town. Passalinqua's, 2253 W. 38th St., held its grand opening Nov. 5. Their hours are Mondays and Wednesdays through Saturdays, 5 to 9 p.m. Closed Tuesdays and Sundays. Order on Grub Hub or Door Dash, or call 814-240-6224.

Coat drive:Need a coat this Erie winter? Where to find or donate cold-weather clothing
Erie Brewing Co., including Beachwood Inn's Hardwood Grille, 4102 West Lake Road, and 6008 Knowledge Parkway, is collecting coats throughout November. Donate new or gently used oats to either location of Erie Brewing Co. and receive a free draft beer. All coats donated will go to Erie City Mission. Brew Ha Ha, a coffee shop in Colony Plaza, 2612 W. Eighth St., is selling the cutest winter sweatshirts. They're tie-dyed blue and white and say "Coffee Coffee Coffee: on the front and Brew Ha Ha down the left sleeve. They look super cozy and are going for $35.

Thelma Blanks, the baker behind the sweet treats at Cafe 7-10 downtown, has opened a new location inside the Blasco Library, 160 Front St. She's selling sweets and healthy lunch fare from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.

Coffee in the Park, 4007 Main St., Lawrence Park, is featuring Pumpkin Cheesecake Cold Brew until Thanksgiving when it will disappear to make room for Christmas flavors. Get yourself some Tuesdays, 7 am. to 3 p.m., Wednesdays, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., closed Sundays and Mondays.
