Patrick Stewart Sings... Country Music Classics?
Actor Patrick Stewart has one of the most distinctive voices in show business, and now he’s putting that voice to work in a new way: country music.
A video posted on Youtube shows the stage and screen icon singing country classics like “El Paso,” “Ghost Riders In The Sky” and the theme from “Rawhide.”
There’s even a website touting the supposed two-volume collection ― plus a disc of duets and another of holiday favorites ― but the vinyl, cassette, CD and 8-track versions are all sold out, presumably because they never existed.

There is one set of tunes you can buy: a five-song downloadable “Cowboy Classics Sampler,” which features Stewart singing “Buttons And Bows,” “Don’t Fence Me In,” “Ringo,” “I’m An Old Cowhand” (a duet with his wife, singer-songwriter Sunny Ozell) and “Here Comes Santa Claus.”
Beyond the novelty of it, there’s also a worthy cause behind Cowboy Pat’s recordings. Proceeds from the collection’s sales go to the International Rescue Committee, a humanitarian organization that helps refugees and victims of armed conflict around the world.
Check out the website or buy the tunes here.
Keep them doggies rollin’, Sir Patrick.
