‘Paranoid’ Trailer: First Look At ITV & Netflix Conspiracy Thriller
Netflix last week boarded upcoming ITV drama Paranoid as co-producer and now we have the first trailer. The eight-part conspiracy thriller from RED Production Company is due to roll out worldwide this fall. It centers on the complex aftermath of the murder of a female doctor in a rural children’s playground.
The first look (check it out above) offers a glimpse of that horrific event, and the twists and turns that follow as the investigation deepens and detectives realize they are in a mammoth battle with a formidable global foe while also fighting their own demons. We also see Downton Abbey‘s Kevin Doyle in a potentially more sinister turn than his Mr Molesley persona.
Paranoid stars Indira Varma (Game Of Thrones), Robert Glenister (The Musketeers), Neil Stuke (Suspects, Doctor Foster), Lesley Sharp (Scott & Bailey) and newcomer Dino Fetscher.
The Paradise and Lark Rise To Candleford‘s Bill Gallagher is writer and will executive produce with RED founder Nicola Shindler (Happy Valley). Studiocanal is handling worldwide post-Netflix sales.
