Oscar Isaac’s Brooklyn Penthouse Hits the Market for $4.5 Million
The internet’s boyfriend is offering up his Brooklyn home.
American actor Oscar Isaac just listed his Boerum Hill duplex penthouse this week, with four bedrooms and a $4.5 million price tag. The Dune and X-Men: Apocalypse star bought the open-plan abode for just under the asking at $4.49 million in 2018, according to the New York Post. Five years later, it was briefly listed for $5 million before being taken off the market. Deborah L. Rieders and Sarah Shuken of Corcoran hold the listing.

Set atop the Hendrik, a midcentury-inspired building by architects Beyer and Blinder Belle, it spreads out over 2,400 square feet of living space with a wraparound terrace. Beyond its foyer with a spiral staircase, you’ll enter into the great room with soaring 12-foot ceilings and large windows that drench the area in natural light. Wooden floors lead to the modern chef’s kitchen nearby, complete with walnut cabinetry and a massive marble-top island.
The wraparound terrace is accessible from both entry-level areas and features a variety of flowering perennials alongside evergreens. During colder months, owners don’t have to step outside to take a gander at the Statue of Liberty from corner windows. A guest room can be found on the lower level, while three others sit upstairs, including the primary suite. Its most eye-catching features are the ensuite bathroom, with a double vanity and Calacatta marble floors, and a walk-in closet with smooth millwork.
Residents of the Hendrik have access to a host of amenities, too. You can enjoy a viewing garden by award-winning landscape architecture firm MPFP or take advantage of the pet spa, fitness room, children’s playroom, 24-hour concierge, and a residents lounge that can be booked for private events.

Isaac is hoping to break even on the penthouse’s sale. In a 2016 interview with Rolling Stone, he mentioned living in the same one-bedroom apartment he bought in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, before his career took off. He renovated the place and said he’d consider a larger apartment if he had kids. Besides adding this home to his portfolio, Isaac now has two sons with his wife, Elvira Lind.
