One Piece Adds Bridgerton Actress in Key Role — See Full Season 2 Cast
Former Bridgerton star Charithra Chandran is trading high society for life on the high seas, joining Season 2 of Netflix’s One Piece in the series-regular role of “Miss Wednesday,” TVLine has learned.

Chandran is now one of more than a dozen cast additions in Season 2. Previously announced newcomers include Sendhil Ramamurthy (Heroes), Katey Sagal (Sons of Anarchy) and Camrus Johnson (Batwoman).
A live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s best-selling manga series, One Piece follows young adventurer Monkey D. Luffy (I?aki Godoy) on his quest to become King of the Pirates. Luffy’s crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, includes expert thief Nami (Emily Rudd), master swordsman Roronoa Zoro (Mackenyu), loyal bestie Usopp (Jacob Romero Gibson) and ass-kicking chef Sanji (Taz Skylar). Also returning for Season 2 are Ilia Isorelys Paulino as Alvida, Jeff Ward as Buggy and Michael Dorman as Gold Roger.
One Piece‘s eight-episode first season dropped in August 2023, and Season 2 is currently in production in Cape Town, South Africa. A release date for Season 2, along with more castings, are still to be announced.
