"Encanto" Director Jared Bush Revealed Mirabel's Birthday And People Are Pleased To Hear She's A Pisces
Both Encanto and its soundtrack continue to live rent free in the minds of everyone worldwide, proving that the film has already become a timeless Disney classic before our very eyes.
"We Don't Talk About Bruno" is on its FIFTH week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. That's wild.
So given that you've memorized the film by now, I don't even need to tell you who Mirabel is. Here she is waving at you, in case you needed a reminder anyway.
One thing you may not already know (but probably do know) is that Mirabel is actually 15 years old in the film, as revealed by director Jared Bush back in December.

They even considered giving Mirabel a quincea?era in the film, but ultimately scrapped the idea.
@natissss For sure we discussed quinces for the Madrigal girls. There was even a thought at one point that we’d see Mirabel’s quince in the film. So I’d say likely yes, but open to interpretation.
So while her age was no secret, her actual birthday was a mystery...until now. Much to the delight of every Encanto stan out there, Jared just tweeted out that Mirabel's actual birth date is March 6, revealing to the world that she's in fact a Pisces.

Yes, our girl is apparently turning 16 in just a few days! Not that Disney characters ever really age though, but this is all in good fun.
Now, I know literally nothing about astrology, but according to the folks at Astrology.com, Pisces individuals are "idealistic and imaginative" and have "tender, sympathetic, and receptive natures." They also "offer spiritual and artistic gifts to the world" and are "vulnerable to absorbing toxic energies." I'm looking at you, Abuela.
They also "find purpose in exploring the unknown, by being of service, and in unique creative expression." Which explains why she was out here risking her life in Bruno's sand cave for a magical single-wick Yankee candle.
