Night Court to Host Big Bang Reunion, With Kunal Nayyar Romancing Abby — Get an Exclusive First Look

Kunal Nayyar will guest-star on an upcoming episode of NBC’s Night Court, reuniting with his Big Bang Theory co-star Melissa Rauch, TVLine can exclusively reveal. Nayyar will appear in the Feb. 6 episode as world-renowned fashion designer Martini Toddwallis, who is facing a bad case of designer’s block. But “he finds inspiration and maybe even a new muse when he arrives at Night Court,” according to the official synopsis.

TVLine also has an exclusive first-look photo from the episode, which you can see above, and it does look like Martini is finding plenty of inspiration in Rauch’s character Abby. Could this spark a new romance for the judge? She’s been on her own since splitting up with long-distance boyfriend Rand at the end of last season, after all.
Nayyar — who shared on Instagram this cheeky clip from the Night Court set — is best known for playing astrophysicist Raj on the hit CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory, which wrapped up a 12-season run in 2019. Rauch co-starred as microbiologist Bernadette, who dated and later married Raj’s friend Howard, played by Simon Helberg. Nayyar’s other TV credits include the Apple TV+ thriller Suspicion along with episodes of NCIS and The Mindy Project.
