Our favorite unproblematic Y2K It girls, Nicole Richie and Hilary Duff, stepped out for a fun girls’ night this weekend.
The friends were spotted holding hands while walking out of the Troubadour in West Hollywood on Saturday, where they supportd the Lizzie McGuire actor’s husband, Matthew Koma, and his band, Winnetka Bowling League, who were playing a show. (The alt-rock trio—which includes Koma’s brother Kris Mazzarisi—kicked off a headlining tour in June.)
Richie, who is married to Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden, looked casually chic in a strapless black corset top with a dramatic curved neckline, which she tucked into a pair of high-waisted flared jeans with a light wash. She cinched the pants at the waist with a black leather belt with a gold buckle, and coordinated with pointy ankle boots and a skinny leather shoulder bag. She gave a wink to her signature boho style with dangly gold earrings featuring geometric shapes.
Duff went in a loungier direction, opting for a transparent cobalt blue button-down which she left open and layered over a navy top, plus loose black pants. She, too, finished her look with a pair of black ankle boots. As for her accessories, Duff chose a blue and white Dior monogram crossbody, gold and diamond hoops, layered gold necklaces, and several gold bangles and rings.
Music producer Josh Abraham posted a group photo on his Instagram Story with Duff, Richie, and their husbands during the night out. He captioned it simply: “Date night.”
