Nick Cannon Gets Into His “Super Dad” Bag, Dresses Up As Easter Bunny To Hang With His 12 Kids
Nick Cannon is the subject of many jokes for fathering so many kids, but from what we’ve seen, he goes all out for them every time. The “super dad” dressed up as the Easter Bunny to provide some holiday cheer for his 12 children.
The comedian posted several photos of his Resurrection Day adventures with his family. He provided baskets and easter eggs for the babies and did a festive photoshoot. He and Abby De La Rosa created what they called a “Bunny Fantasy World” for their children Zilly, Zion, and Beautiful. It was impressive to see him make his rounds and make time for his large family, and the joy on all of their faces looked genuine.
His efforts didn’t end with just his family members, though. Cannon visited St. Mary’s Children’s Hospital and spent time with medically challenged youth. He shared a long, passionate caption explaining what the experience meant to him.
“What this Holiday means to me!! This Easter, Zen’s Light Foundation had the honor of spreading joy and light to over 150 wonderful souls at St. Mary’s Children’s Hospital in Bayside,” Nick Cannon wrote in the caption accompanying a collage of photos of himself with the children and a video.
“Zen’s Light Easter Egg-stravaganza filled the lobby at St. Mary’s with joy, excitement, laughter, and love. St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children stands as a true beacon of hope, providing unwavering support to children and families navigating medical challenges. Witnessing the smiles on the children’s faces served as a powerful reminder of the impact of spreading positivity and kindness.”
He encouraged everyone to continue spreading light and positivity to “those who need it most.” Between spending time with his entire family and visiting a children’s hospital, Nick Cannon may have earned Easter MVP if that award were ever to exist.
Though Nick Cannon has a large family now, it was larger at one point. He lost his son Zen to brain cancer at just five months old in December 2021. Cannon and Zen’s mother, Alyssa Scott, shared a heartfelt tribute to Zen earlier this year.
“Zen’s Light and presence shining over little miss Halo and Mommy and Daddy!” he wrote in the caption of a video where he, Scott, and their daughter Halo walked along the beach. “What a beautiful day to remind us all that there is a higher power and God’s Energy and frequency to keep us all going under his grace and mercy even in the midst of challenges.”
Nick Cannon shared the news of his son’s passing in a tearful announcement on his eponymous talk show in December 2021. “This weekend I made a valid effort to spend the most quality time I could spend with Zen,” he said. “We woke up on Sunday… and [went] to the ocean… and then I had to fly back to New York for the show. By the time I got in the car and was headed to the airport, I had to turn around.”
