Netflix’s ‘One Piece’ Season 2 Casts Smoker, Tashigi, Wapol & Dalton
EXCLUSIVE: Netflix’s One Piece has added four more cast members for its upcoming second season. Callum Kerr (Monarch) has been cast as Smoker, Julia Rehwald (Fear Street) as Tashigi, Rob Colletti (The Many Saints of Newark) as Wapol and Ty Keogh (24 Hours To Live) as Dalton, all characters straight from Eiichiro Oda,’s pirate adventure manga. Additional cast and roles to be revealed at a later date.
There had been great anticipation among One Piece fans over the casting of Smoker who was introduced in the final minutes of the Season 1 finale as a teaser for what is to come in Season 2. While the character’s face was not revealed at the time, there were major clues, including Smoker’s characteristic naval uniform and the two cigars the man was smoking at the same time.

Based on Oda’s manga title, One Piece follows the otherworldly adventures of Monkey D. Luffy (I?aki Godoy) and his pirate crew as they explore exotic islands and endless oceans in search for the ultimate treasure “One Piece” to become the next Pirate King.
In addition to Godoy, the series also stars Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji.
The cast also includes McKinley Belcher III, Morgan Davies, Aidan Scott, Vincent Regan, Jeff Ward, Craig Fairbrass, Langley Kirkwood, Celeste Loots, Alexander Maniatis, Ilia Isorelys Paulino, Chioma Umeala and Steven Ward.
Season 1 of the action adventure spent 8 weeks in Netflix’s Global Top 10, reaching the Top 10 in 93 countries and debuting at #1 in 46. It also logged a 95% Audience Score on Rotten Tomatoes from 10,000+ ratings, among the highest ever for a Netflix series.
The series is done in partnership with Shueisha and produced by Tomorrow Studios, an ITV Studios partner, and Netflix. Season 2 executive producers include showrunners Matt Owens & Joe Tracz, Oda, Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements through Tomorrow Studios, Tetsu Fujimura, Chris Symes and Steve Maeda.
