Naomi Campbell Bares It All for Timberland FW24
Timberland just dropped its new "ICONIC" campaign, featuring a star-studded line-up of names who bare it all for Fall/Winter 2024. Starring supermodel Naomi Campbell alongside Kai-Isaiah Jamal, Slawn and Teddy Swims, the black and white campaign puts a stark focus on the six-inch boot -- but unlike ever before.
Centered around themes of empowerment, self-expression and fearlessness, the campaign captures these influential figures wearing nothing but the boots. Shot by Jamie Morgan -- famously known for capturing Campbell as a young model back in 1984 -- the campaign aims to highlight messages of authenticity and originality.
"The word 'iconic' is over-used these days and can only be truly earned over a long period of time. Timberland boots have earned that status. They've been adopted by so many different sub-cultures over the years and are still at the forefront of fashion style, so yeah, definitely iconic," says Morgan.
Echoing that sentiment is British-Nigerian designer and artist Slawn, who adds, "This boot is classic. Sexy. Very me. I've got like six pairs." Kai adds, "For me iconic is things that have legacy, history, and cultural footprints. Ultimately the story behind Timberland and the way in which culture was embraced and has birthed from it a new culture… for me that is deeply iconic."
