I'm Simply Obsessed With "Ms. Marvel," So Here Are 11 Details I Noticed While Watching Episode 4

?? Warning: There are MASSIVE spoilers ahead for Ms. Marvel Episode 4 on Disney+! ??
.First, Kamala's visit to Karachi to visit her grandmother Sana and extended family is something that is taken right from the Ms. Marvel comics. In Ms. Marvel Issue #12, Kamala also goes to visit Sana for the first time in years; however, unlike in the show, Kamala's grandmother doesn't have a connection to her powers.

.When Kamala is looking through her grandmother's art studio, you can see newspaper clippings that detail different events in Pakistan's history.

.When Kamala is walking through the market and stops to talk to the guy taking polaroid photos, you can see a QR code on his stand. Similar to earlier episodes and Moon Knight, the QR code takes you to another free Ms. Marvel comic book.

.As Kamala walks through the Karachi train station, you can see a mural with Ant-Man on it as he grows from small to big. I'm honestly obsessed with how popular Ant-Man has become in this post-Thanos world.

.The Ant-Man mural in the Karachi train station was created by artist Saira Hussain, and is a tribute to Adrian Alphona, who was the artist on the first ever Ms. Marvel comic book in 2014.

.When Kamala comes face-to-face with Kareem, aka Red Dagger, for the first time, he asks if all Americans have superpowers. Then, Kamala jokes that maybe she's Canadian. In real life, Iman Vellani is Canadian.

.As I mentioned above, we get our first introduction to the Red Dagger, aka Kareem, in the MCU. In the Ms. Marvel comics, Kamala meets Kareem in Karachi during her visit, and he later goes to New Jersey on a student exchange program where he joins Kamala's class.

.Also, Kareem's Red Dagger outfit in this episode is a nod to his look in the Ms. Marvel comics. He often wears a green shirt with a red scarf tied around his face, just like we see here.

.Kamala's conversation with Sana on the roof about how Sana is still trying to find her place and where she belongs is very similar to how Kamala feels in Ms. Marvel Issue #12. In the comic, Kamala remarks that she's "too Pakistani" in America, but in Karachi, she's "too American."

.After some training with the Red Daggers, Kamala is gifted a blue vest, which is a nod to Kamala's comic book design. Her signature colors are usually red, blue, and yellow, so that's starting to take shape on the show, too.

.And finally, the closing credits for this episode have changed slightly to reflect Kamala's time in Karachi. Instead of using Jersey City as a backdrop, the closing credits now showcase Karachi.
