Who has the most Grammys of all time?
When Beyoncé won a Grammy Award for her album “Renaissance” last year, she became the artist with the most Grammys of all time — shattering a previous record held for 26 years by the late conductor Georg Solti.
Beyonce’s overall Grammy count — a staggering 32 — isn’t likely to be beat anytime soon. But there’s still a number of potential history-making moments to look forward to at this year’s Grammy Awards ceremony on Feb. 4. One of the most notable: Multiple artists have a chance to tie the record for most Grammys won in one night by a female solo artist, and two have a chance to surpass the record.
Currently, the record six Grammy wins in a night by a female solo artist is a distinction that Beyonce and Adele share, per information from VegasInsider.com shared with the Deseret News. This year, Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo and Brandy Clark each have a chance to tie that record. Artists SZA and Victoria Monet have a chance to surpass it with their total of nine and seven nominations, respectively.
If SZA were to win all of her nominations, she would become the most awarded artist in one night of all time, surpassing Michael Jackson (1984) and Santana (2000), who each won eight awards in a night, according to VegasInsider.com.
Meanwhile, legendary composer John Williams, who is up for three Grammys this year, could potentially move up in the rankings of artists with the most Grammys of all time.
Ahead of Sunday’s big event, here’s a look at some of the top Grammy winners.
