‘Morning Joe’ Co-Hosts Get Into a Scrap on Air — Trying to Say the Same Thing

Joe Scarborough and his Morning Joe co-host, Mika Brzezinski, got into a heated argument Wednesday morning, but not because of their political differences. The issue was that they both wanted to make the same point — and were tussling over who should make it.

As Brzezinski was trying to express her opinion about the state of the Republican Party with Donald Trump as its candidate, and about the party leaders who support him, Scarborough interrupted, claiming that he was the one who should deliver the message, because he is a Republican.

Scarborough told Brzezinski, “Let me say this, OK? Because it means nothing coming from you. You’re a Democrat. It means nothing coming from a Democrat to these Republicans.”

Brzezinski was visibly upset by the interruption, but eventually let Scarborough have his say.

As Scarborough put it, “Let me say this to my Republican Party: You are letting Donald Trump destroy the party.”
