Donald Trump just wants Mitt Romney to Call Him Back, Maybe.
Trump is hosting a fundraiser for Romney Thursday night, but that appears to be news to the Republican candidate. Romney spokesman Rick Gorka told E! that there will be “no meeting” and said, “That won’t be happening this week.”
But Trump is doubling down, tweeting, “Looking forward to the “Dine with Mitt and Donald” this Thursday. Can’t wait to meet the lucky winner. @MittRomney.”
Is Donald Trump Mitt Romney’s clingy friend that he doesn’t really want around? We’ll have to wait until Thursday night to see it all play out, but it sounds like Trump is just asking to hear Romney’s favorite words, “You’re fired.”
