Missed seeing 'Killers of the Flower Moon' in theaters? It's returning after getting 10 Oscar nominations
After landing 10 Academy Award nominations this week, Martin Scorsese's Oklahoma-made epic "Killers of the Flower Moon" is returning to theaters Friday, Jan. 26.
Apple Original Films announced Wednesday that "Killers of the Flower Moon" will be re-released in theaters, in partnership with Paramount Pictures, for a limited theatrical run in more than 1,000 locations globally.
Filmed in and around Osage County in 2021, the Western crime drama focuses on a grim and often-overlooked chapter of Oklahoma history: The 1920s "Reign of Terror," a series of ruthless slayings of oil-rich Osage Nation citizens.
Adapted from David Grann's 2017 best-selling book, “Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI," the star-studded $200 million film is considered the largest movie production ever undertaken in the Sooner State.
