Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles Season 15, Episode 10 Recap: Ending on a High
It’s the season finale on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles Season 15, Episode 10! Last week, Flagg had his bestie Denise Richards appear in one of his promotional videos, and Tracy went on a double date from hell. This week, Altman and Tracy finally sell their Readcrest and Crescent Bay properties, and Heather and Altman have a ribbon-cutting ceremony for their OC office. Here’s everything you need to know about Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, Season 15, Episode 10: “Ending on a High.”
Altman plays a starring role in selling Ocean’s 13 on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles
What happens in the OC stays in the OC. At least at the Ocean’s 13 house in Laguna Niguel. The Vegas-inspired listing got its name due to the 13.3 acres it sits on, and Altman wanted this property. His goal was to have $500 million in active listings in time for his OC office ribbon-cutting ceremony, and he was currently at $300 million. Tick, tock!
This 15,200 square foot home was perched high up on a hill with ocean and mountain views. Everything was custom, from the $150k dining room table to the million dollar pool. Even the entrance made you feel like you were parking your car at a Vegas casino valet. Altman pitched the listing price of $40 million over a game of skee ball. He gambled on listing it lower so they only had to list it once. The seller agreed and Altman was one step closer to his $500 million goal.
Flagg’s gamble on Denise Richards pays off
The Oak Knoll promotional video starring Denise Richards did in fact go viral with a million views. This also brought over the cream of the crop to his broker’s open. No broker’s from the valley here! Flagg was like a kid in a candy shop giving a tour of the historic Pasadena home. We need an HGTV historic home flipping show with Flagg stat!
Altman showed up just in time for the secret door portion of the tour. They stopped off at the tiki bar for cocktails and then the museum, where Altman did his best pose, mimicking a famous statue. Tracy blasted that pic online as payback for that awful date Altman took her on with Dr. Ben. I shudder just thinking about it.
While the home was gorgeous, Altman and Tracy were concerned Flagg was not going to get his asking price of $36.5 million, as homes don’t sell that high in Pasadena. But Flagg had some potential showings in the works. In the mean time, Altman made Flagg and Tracy promise to come to his ribbon cutting ceremony. The office might not be ready yet, but the front of the building would be. He also shared the good news that he finally sold the Readcrest property. It was time to celebrate! Lucky for them, a tiki bar was right within reach.
Tracy focuses on empty nesters for her WeHo penthouse
Los Angeles may be all about that city life, but most wealthy people there live in homes, not high rises. Which is why Tracy found it challenging to sell or rent her $26 million West Hollywood penthouse. The luxury property was 6,415-square-feet with wraparound city views and an 832-square-foot outdoor deck. She showed the home to several buyers, and one new dad kept over analyzing every pointy table corner. I’d be more worried about a kid falling over that deck, eesh. Tracy smartly realized she would need to focus on an empty nester for this property. So the search continued for that perfect buyer.
It was 15 days until Heather and Altman’s OC office ribbon cutting ceremony. And there was just one problem. The exterior of the building was not completed yet. Naturally, Heather and Altman were freaking out. Heather warned him they could not reschedule either, as the ceremony had been advertised and set up through the chamber of commerce. Altman was pissed. He wondered why Heather didn’t know that they were so behind as she was in charge. Heather promised she’d get it done, but this was another bump in the road for their relationship.
Heather and Altman keep it classy with a ribbon cutting ceremony in a parking lot
Tracy’s problem child Crescent Bay listing finally had an offer. The property held on the market for six months as the sellers, James and Frances, didn’t want to come down on the $8.9 million asking price. Finally, they received an offer of $7.59 million. James was hesitant to accept as it wasn’t all cash – the horror! However, Tracy was able to convince him this was the best they were going to get right now. He reluctantly agreed and decided to go forward with the deal. Now all Tracy had to do was sell that pesky WeHo penthouse.
Heather and Altman pulled through at the eleventh hour and were able to get the outside of their OC office finished. Which meant their red carpet event was held outside in the parking lot. Was Real Housewives of Orange County’s Jennifer Pedranti was doing her yoga class in the parking lot one over? Still, it was a happy success for the couple, and they were able to hit that $500 million goal.
Altman then gave Flagg a tour of the inside. He admitted their friendship had been as rocky as the market. He joked, “It could be worse, it could be better, that’s basically our friendship.” Meanwhile, Heather told Tracy she was going to crack unless Altman helped more. They were about to open up another office in Scottsdale, so things weren’t going to get any easier. Altman had a plan, however, and that was to start saying no. In the end, they all cheered to “high sales, low sales, and no sales!” And cheers to another amazing season with the MDLLA crew.
