‘Mildred Pierce’ & ‘Non-Stop’ Actress Quinn McColgan Joins CJ Entertainment Thriller Remake ‘Hide And Seek’
EXCLUSIVE: Mildred Pierce and Non-Stop child actress Quinn McColgan has been cast as the daughter of Jonathan Rhys Meyers and Jacinda Barrett’s characters in CJ Entertainment’s thriller remake Hide And Seek, which is currently filming in New York.
As we previously revealed, Rhys Meyers (The Tudors), Barrett (Bloodline), Joe Pantoliano (The Sopranos), Mustafa Shakir (Luke Cage) and Geoffrey Owens (The Cosby Show) star in the feature.
Actor-director Joel David Moore (Youth In Oregon) is directing the redo of Next Entertainment World’s 2013 hit which took more than $35M at the Korean box office. Moore adapted the screenplay from writer-director Huh Jung’s original. Korean powerhouse CJ Entertainment, which is growing its U.S. footprint, developed the remake and is financing and producing the film.
The socially-minded pic, which nods to the crisis in affordable housing and the growing chasm between rich and poor, follows a man searching for his long-lost brother who stumbles upon a secret world of squatters terrorizing the homes of unsuspecting tenants.
Teen actress McColgan starred with Kate Winslet in HBO mini Mildred Pierce and with Liam Neeson and Julianne Moore in feature Non-Stop. She co-starred in Sony feature Extinction and played in 2015 comedy pic Love The Coopers. She is repped by Echo Lake Entertainment and Take 3 Talent Agency.
