Metal band books first Empower Field stadium show of 2025
DENVER (KDVR) — Empower Field at Mile High has set its first stadium show of 2025, and it includes a famous metal band.
Better start practicing that headbanging. On Thursday, Metallica announced they are extending their M72 World Tour for a third year and are bringing the show to Denver. On June 27 and June 29, 2025, the band will perform at Empower Field at Mile High.
According to the band, Denver will be Metallica’s last 2025 North American stop.

Metallica is performing two separate nights in Denver, and you will want to attend both, as each show will be different. The band will be continuing their “No Repeat Weekend” tradition, which means they will play entirely different setlists each night with a different supporting lineup.
On June 27, Limp Bizkit and Ice Nine Kills will join Metallica. On June 29, Pantera and Suicidal Tendencies will perform.
Since April 2023, Metallica has performed for over three million fans during the M72 World Tour.
How to get tickets?
Metallica is selling two-night bundles for their “No Repeat Weekends,” and presale begins Sept. 23.
On Sept. 23, fan club presale will begin at 10 a.m. To be a part of the limited number of people who can purchase tickets first, fans can go on Metallica’s website and signup for a presale code.

The next day, on Sept. 24, fans with a Citi card or Verizon account will be able to purchase tickets beginning at 10 a.m.
Finally, general sale will happen on Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. All tickets will be sold through Ticketmaster.
According to the band, a portion of all ticket sales will go to local charities through Metallica’s All Within My Hands foundation.
