Melissa Joan Hart's 3 Kids: All About Mason, Braydon and Tucker
Melissa Joan Hart’s sons have dabbled in the acting world
Melissa Joan Hart is enjoying life with her three kids: Mason, Braydon and Tucker.
The Sabrina the Teenage Witch star and her husband, singer-songwriter Mark Wilkerson, have been married for over two decades after a whirlwind engagement in 2002 and a wedding the following year. These days, they’re raising their sons in Nashville and watching them grow up quickly.
“They’re getting huge,” Hart told PEOPLE in April 2022. “My oldest is driving and it's really upsetting.”
Over the years, the actress has opened up about tailoring her parenting approach to each child, and although she's tempted to make their lives easier, she also wants to keep them accountable for their actions through what she calls "natural consequences."

“If a child is failing a class, it's up to that child to turn things around. If a child has a car with a broken headlight, they cannot drive their car until it's fixed," Hart explained to Today in May 2024.
While she previously considered adding a fourth member to the family, she decided to dedicate her time to helping her sons develop into their own people.
Today, Hart and Wilkerson are busy maintaining close relationships with the boys and supporting them as they pursue their various passions — flying planes, playing football and analyzing Stranger Things, to name a few.
Here’s everything to know about Melissa Joan Hart's kids: Mason, Braydon and Tucker.
Mason Walter Wilkerson, 18
Hart and Wilkerson welcomed their first child, son Mason Walter Wilkerson, on Jan. 11, 2006.
As Mason entered his teenage years, he began showing an interest in the entertainment industry when he appeared in the Lifetime TV movie A Very Nutty Christmas (2018) alongside his mom, who played the lead.
That said, Mason became more involved in other hobbies, including playing high school football. At the time, Hart told PEOPLE that he wanted to invest all his energy into the sport, even if that meant not focusing on dating.
“I like that,” she said in April 2022. “He's sort of navigating it now. But he wants to focus on football, so he doesn't want anything to distract him from that.”
She explained that her husband was the same way when he was growing up.
By the following year, Mason expanded his horizons when he flew a plane solo for the first time in February 2023. To mark the unique occasion, Hart posted photos of the aircraft up in the air and shared sentimental reflections on Instagram.
“Today was a very special day for Mason as he took his first solo flight in an aircraft,” she wrote. “He's been working for 3 years toward this goal and his Dad and I got the honor of watching from the control tower! So proud of you Mason!” She called his landings “butter.”
Fast forward, the Clarissa Explains It All star celebrated her eldest son's graduation in May 2024 and shared an exciting update on his next steps.
"We are so proud of Mason for completing his high school career and accepting his spot in an incredible aeronautics school!" Hart wrote alongside graduation photos. "He has some big dreams and plans to back them up and we will be here to support it all."
Braydon Hart Wilkerson, 16
Hart and Wilkerson announced the arrival of their second child, son Braydon Hart Wilkerson, on March 12, 2008.
Like his older brother, Braydon isn’t focused on TV and film résumé, but he appeared with his mother in the 2014 Lifetime movie, The Santa Con.
While chatting with Today in May 2024, Hart revealed that Braydon isn’t necessarily passionate about acting but sees it as a way to fund his sneaker obsession.
Braydon is also athletic: He plays high school football, and Hart enjoys attending games to cheer him on. In August 2023, she shared a photo of herself, Braydon and Wilkerson posing on a football field, with Hart wearing a Mustangs T-shirt and Braydon sporting his Mustangs uniform.
“First JV game in the books,” she wrote in her caption. “Let the season of me eating burgers and ringing a cowbell in the stands begin!”
On Braydon’s sixteenth birthday in March 2024, Hart celebrated with her nearly 2 million followers on Instagram. In a tribute post, she shared a photo of her son and called him “the coolest kid I've ever met.”
“You have the rare ability to not care what anyone thinks about you and yet care about everyone at the same time!" she shared. "The day you were born, and the moment we introduced you to your brother will forever live in my heart as my very favorite memory!”
While celebrating Mason's high school graduation two months later, Hart also took a moment to acknowledge Braydon's own achievements (she affectionally calls him Brady) and what was ahead for him.
"Brady who is ready to take on his sophomore year and the football field with everything he has got!" she penned. "Brady has some of the most incredible executive function skills I have ever seen in a teen boy and we are so proud of all he has tackled this year."
Tucker Wilkerson, 12
Hart and Wilkerson’s youngest child, son Tucker Wilkerson, was born on Sept. 18, 2012.
He seems a little more intrigued by TV and film than his older brothers — Tucker’s performing experience includes the Lifetime 2022 movie Santa Bootcamp, which Hart directed.
During her May 2024 interview with Today, Hart admitted that Tucker “could act” seriously if he wanted to but it wasn't top of mind for them at the moment.
However, the mother-son duo have collaborated multiple times: In 2013, Hart opened up to PEOPLE about working with Tucker on the ABC Family sitcom Melissa & Joey when he appeared as the neighbor’s baby.
“I couldn’t stay in character!” she shared about the experience. “I was watching him like a hawk and forgetting to react as my character would to the situation. It was unnerving. But it was so fun to have him there.”
Tucker also enjoys watching TV; one of his favorite shows is Stranger Things. In January 2023, he got to be a guest on Hart’s review podcast, What Women Binge, to talk about the series. He expertly broke down demogorgons, mind flayers, portals and the main character Eleven’s journey.
When they’re not acting together or discussing television projects, Hart makes sure Tucker completes his homework. In her end-of-the-school-year recap in May 2024, the actress also gave her youngest son a shout-out for his progress.
"Tucker accomplished a lot this school year and was honored by his iWonder teacher for being an outstanding student in her class," Hart wrote. "He also has overcome some big learning disabilities this year thanks to his wonderful teachers who believed in him and gave him the tools to believe in himself and succeed."
