McDonald's New McFlurry Flavor in Canada Sparks Fan Outcry: 'USA Needs This Now'
McDonald's fans are once again feeling salty over a super sweet overseas McFlurry flavor.
While it may seem like a long-running joke amongst fast food aficionados that all the "best" releases never go national–from McDonald's Collector's cups to seasonal sweets and other limited releases to competing drive-thrus and convenience store items–people have traveled over state lines and across the border with the intent of trying one or more of the above.

Mickey D's special Halloween–the Reese's Chipits 'N Fudge McFlurry–which is exclusive to Canada is no exception, with several would-be customers begging the brand to bring the soft-serve ice cream dessert to locations in the U.S.
According to the official description, the limited-time McFlurry flavor features Reese's Chipits peanut butter chips "swirled into smooth vanilla soft serve and blended with hot fudge sauce." It's available in regular and snack size, joining another fall-only McFlurry flavor at participating locations in Canada: the S'mores McFlurry.
While food blogger Snackolator admitted that "this is not a McFlurry I am too jealous of," clarifying that "I am jealous at how many limited items are out in Canada right now," several social media users politely disagreed and begged the Golden Arches to bring the fudgy Reese's McFlurry to the States.
"The USA needs this now," one Instagram user demanded.
"Might go to Canada just for this ??," a second admitted. "Been needing a Reese’s McFlurry ever since they had it when I was a kid."
"They really tryna make you cross that border," a third joked.
Thankfully, fans here in the U.S. won't have to travel too far to enjoy limited-edition or Halloween-inspired menu items and "crazy" collaborations worthy of mention, including the U.K.-original Chicken Big Mac, a fall-favorite pie flavor, its version of the PSL, a Happy Meal collectible fans "can't wait" to get their hands on, and, finally, not to forget the impending return of the fan-favorite McRib.
