McDonald’s Launches ‘Friends’ Happy Meal for 30th Anniversary Celebration
There is no better way to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the most iconic sitcom of the '90s. McDonald’s Spain is collaborating with Friends in honor of its birthday and creating a themed adult Happy Meal.
Just like when you were a kid, adults can purchase the Happy Meal and collect each of the available toys, or in this case figurines, which are of Rachel, Monica and the rest of the cast. The Happy Meal is available for a limited time, so grab it while you can. See the Friends figurines that you can collect below:

What is included in the Happy Meal?
Customers have a choice of contents when purchasing between a Big Mac, a Quarter Pounder, A CBO (Cheddar, Bacon, Onion), a McRoyal Deluxe or a McChicken. The Happy Meal also comes with a side of French fries and a drink. As an additional treat, McDonald’s created a special sauce called “Monica’s Marinara,” which might be a reference to “Handbag Marinara” when Rachel poured a jar of the sauce into Monica’s purse.
The Happy Meal boxes are also decorated for the theme inspired by the sitcom, featuring the New York City skyline and drawings of the Friends figurines that are available inside. Purchasing the adult Happy Meal, which is available for €9.50 (approximately $10.41 USD) will make the memories of snagging one as a child come flooding back. Who says we’re too old for a delicious Happy Meal?
Will the ‘Friends’ Happy Meal Launch in the United States?
While there is no news as to whether this collaboration will make it over to the United States, never say never. Multiple collaborations that have launched in other countries have made their way stateside before, including ones with Crocs and Squishmallows.
McDonald’s Spain announced the collaboration on October 10 on their social media page, featuring one of their restaurants transformed in the series spot, Central Perk. Check out the announcement here.
Fans worldwide have been vocal about wanting this collaboration to come to other countries and regions. One X, formerly known as Twitter, user, wrote, “I NEED this in the beautiful United States of America.” Another tweeted, “Bring these to the USA & Canada. PLEASE.”
