Matt Rife adds 2025 comedy tour dates, promises 'bigger and better shows'
Comedian Matt Rife's ProbleMATTic World Tour isn't over yet, but he's already announcing his next tour. And he's promising to "do it bigger" this time.
On Tuesday, the TikTok star shared on social media he's "excited to see y’all for even bigger and better shows" on his 2025 Stay Golden Tour. In the announcement video, he said, "The greatest fans on earth made my biggest dreams come true" as he performed somewhere around 700 shows in two years.
The Stay Golden Tour's North America shows kick off Feb. 2 in Atlanta and conclude in Boston on Dec. 31, with 30 shows scheduled between those dates. A "special taping" is scheduled during his September shows in Austin, Texas.
Rife wrapped his previous tour at the end of December with a slate of shows in Chicago, which were postponed after he experienced "extreme exhaustion symptoms" last year.
Known for his crowd work, the 29-year-old comedian — who followed his two YouTube stand-up comedy specials with the Netflix special "Matt Rife: Natural Selection" — has accumulated a large fanbase capable of making Ticketmaster crash. He's also racked up his share of detractors.
Amid his steep ascent to fame, he's received backlash for doubling down on a joke about domestic violence victims with a self-described "fake apology" that directed critics to a website selling "special needs helmets," which some criticized for being ableist.
The "Wild 'N Out " alum also released a memoir in December that delves into "what led him to becoming comedy’s biggest lightning rod before he reached thirty, in a story full of bold and hysterical takes on everything from rap battles with ex-cons to Matt’s struggles with depression and his many brushes with failure before finally hitting it big."

On Tuesday, new shows in Las Vegas, Salt Lake City and San Antonio were added to the tour. An artist presale for the new Stay Golden Tour dates begins Wednesday at noon local time.
"Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale beginning Friday, January 31, at noon local time at mattrifeofficial.com," according to a Live Nation press release.
