Matt LeBlanc resurrects Dr. Drake Ramoray on 'Late Night with Seth'

On Thursday night, Late Night with Seth Meyers brought back one of Friends‘ most beloved meta characters.

In a “Distinguished Guests” segment, in which Meyers points out the most esteemed audience members that came to the show, the spotlight fell on Matt LeBlanc’s character within a character on Friends, Dr. Drake Ramoray. The Days of Our Lives neurosurgeon somehow “reappeared” on the show, despite his fate on the soap opera, having fell down an elevator shaft, had a brain transplant, and gotten stabbed while performing surgery. Hey, at least he’s taking it easy after his time in Salem.
