Martina McBride, Beach Boys, Boyz II Men and more performing at Chautauqua this summer
Whether your musical likes lean toward Martina McBride, Frankie Valli or Boyz II Men, the Chautauqua Institution's 2024 season has a show for you.
If you wanted to see Melissa Etheridge and the Indigo Girls, you're out of luck if you didn't already buy your tickets. That concert is sold out. But others on the nine-week schedule this summer include the Beach Boys, Wynton Marsalis, Wilco, and Shawn Colvin and KT Tunstall.
Chautauqua Institution brings such big-name performers to its Amphitheater each year. Known as a community of artists, educators, thinkers, faith leaders and friends dedicated to exploring the best in humanity, the institution is located at 1 Ames Ave., Chautauqua, New York, which is about 40 miles east of Erie.
Below you'll find weekly music, theater and dance highlights for the season that runs June 22 through Aug. 25. This is just a taste of what Chautauqua has to offer and doesn't include everything, such as the many lectures and worship services on the calendar.
Performances on this list are in the Chautauqua Institution's Amphitheater, unless noted, and dates, times and ticket prices were taken from the institution's website as of May 8. For some events, a traditional gate pass and/or single ticket purchase may be required.
