Martha Stewart Says Her and Snoop Dogg Had ‘So Much Fun’ During Paris Olympics
It's been nearly two months since the 2024 Paris Olympics ended, but we can't get over Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart 's reunion.
The former Martha & Snoop's Potluck Dinner Party hosts held it down Parisian-style during Olympic equestrian events in August, with the businesswoman and media personality even encouraging Snoop through his horse phobia.
To promote her and Snoop's new BIC accessories, Stewart recently had a chance to chat with People about the experience, telling the publication that their reconnection "created quite a stir" during the Paris games.
"Snoop and I, when we were in Paris, we hung out with everybody from NBC. It was a very fun," the 83-year-old told the publication. "I was only there for around six or seven days, but Snoop was there for almost a whole month doing his reporting for NBC. It was so much fun."
She continued, "We went to Versailles together. We reported on dressage. We got dressed up in our dressage outfits and we created quite a stir. I mean, I have not seen one person since I returned from Paris that has not mentioned my appearance at the Olympics. Not one, and it's very funny."
While Snoop took over Olympic events with his comedic hosting and joining the likes of Michael Phelps and the Team USA track crew for demonstrations, he also conquered his fear of horses with support from Stewart at Versailles.
"Getting Snoop to actually touch a horse — he's been deadly afraid of horses his whole life — and he actually got to love it," Stewart said. "I offered him a stall in my barn and so if he finds a horse that he likes, he can put the horse in my barn and we'll take care of it for him."
A fun moment during Snoop and Stewart's time at the Olympics was finding out that a dressage horse was named 'Gin & Juice,' a reference to Snoop's 1994 classic. In resolving his horse fear, Snoop even confessed that equestrianism was one of his "new favorite sports" in the video below.
