Lucy Hale Mixes Comfort with Style in Grungy Platform Sandals in Los Angeles

Lucy Hale was spotted grabbing a coffee with a friend in Los Angeles yesterday.
For the causal romp in the city, the “Puppy Love” star donned a pair of grungy black platform sandals. The strappy style was comprised of rich black leather uppers featuring contrasting white stitching. High-shine silver metal studs were fixed to the facade of both sandals, while matching metal hoops fitted the straps together, imparting that aforementioned grungy look. Non-slip platform soles offered Hale height and length, while thick slingback straps situated around her heels made sure her sandals were situated in place.

Platform sandals are a classic summery addition to any outfit. The silhouette is, more often than not, immensely comfortable. The lifted soles add height while cradling the wearer’s feet, providing a sort of cushioned effect. With these factors in mind, it’s no wonder Hale opted for this look while grabbing coffee.
The “Pretty Little Liars” actress paired her comfy meets grunge footwear with closet staple high-waisted light-wash jeans and a plain black t-shirt tucked into her denim. Rounding out her look, Hale wore black sunglasses with oval-shaped frames accompanied by shiny and short chunky gold hoops.
Like her casual and cute footwear, Hale’s ensemble was equally so. The thespian’s outfit consisted of a light gray ribbed sweater layered over the top a white long-sleeve top. On the bottom, Hale sported high-waisted dark-wash jeans with a baggy hem that almost eclipsed her footwear.
Rounding out her look, the “Scream 4” actress wore large black sunglasses accompanied by a plethora of gold jewelry and a cream-colored crossbody bag. Hale’s look is perfect for grabbing coffee, taking a stroll or, in her case, grabbing lunch.
