Louis Tomlinson Admits He Wasn't Able to Score Oasis Reunion Tour Tickets: 'I Did Try'
The former One Direction member was one of the Gallagher brothers' many fans who failed to get tickets for the upcoming sold-out tour
Louis Tomlinson may not be able to attend Oasis' reunion tour.
After the "Wonderwall" duo's upcoming comeback shows in the United Kingdom and Ireland quickly sold out within hours on Aug. 31, the former One Direction member revealed he failed to score tickets.
"I didn’t. I was in the queue, but I never got a number," Tomlinson, 32, told Sky Sports at the Italian Grand Prix on Sept. 1. "I did try, I did try."

The outlet's reporter then suggested the "Walls" performer use his entertainment industry connections to get tickets, and he replied, "I have my fingers crossed."
Lucky for Tomlinson, Oasis seem to be gearing up to announce more shows. Earlier this week, the British rock group, fronted by brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, posted a video to their Instagram Story teasing potential shows in the United States.
The IG clip showed an Amazon Music billboard in New York City's Times Square that read, "If we need to put up a billboard to get these guys to come to the States, here it is."
The advertisement also featured a recent press image of Noel, 57, and Liam, 51, while the Oasis account added a side-eye emoji over the Instagram Story post.
Announced last week, Oasis' first U.K. and Ireland tour in 16 years arrives after the brothers notably split after allegedly arguing backstage at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.
"The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised," wrote the band in a press statement, before adding on Instagram, "This is it, this is happening."
