A look at the final day of San Diego Comic-Con
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — San Diego Comic-Con 2024 ended Sunday afternoon with an estimated 135,000 attendees over the course of the four-day convention. Thousands of people and characters filed out of the convention center armed with swag and many of their own personal highlights.
“It’s been magical,” said John Tye, dressed in character as Walter White from the Breaking Bad series. “I get treated like a star when I’m here. Everybody wants to take photos, it’s just an amazing experience. Plus, you get to see panels, get to see stars… and experience San Diego too, nothing better.”

For some attendees they come every year, others it was their first time.
“I enjoy seeing the costumes and how happy everyone is. Everyone is so kind and happy to be here,” said Tarrah Martinez, dressed as Storm Trooper Barbie.
Comic-Con, for many, is a melting pot of personalities, creations and ideas.
“I really enjoy the different states and hearing people talking. All these people visiting San Diego, that’s fun for me,” said Ruben Samaniego.
As people headed home after the long weekend, many are already looking forward to Comic-Con 2025.
