That hot New York rock band that was so impressive last year, The Midnight Callers, return to The C Note in Hull. Rock duo The Kills headline Royale in Boston. Pop/soul songsmith Eric Bellinger sings at The Paradise Rock Club in Boston. Guitarist Bill Frisell brings The Bill Frisell Three to The RegattaBar in Harvard Square. Comic Patton Oswalt has sold out both his City Winery shows in Boston. Aussie dance-pop and rap artist TKay Maidza makes her Brighton Music Hall debut. Start early for the 2 p.m. Shady Roosters at the Spire Center in Plymouth; or hit Players in Rockland 4-8 p.m. for the blues jam hosted by the Michele Rockwell Band. Code Orange rocks the Paradise Rock Club in Boston; the Yonder Mountain String Band jams at Big Night Live in Boston; and talented Texas country-rocker Tanner Usrey – whose music has been on the "Yellowstone" soundtrack – heats up The Sinclair in Cambridge.
